Rotaract Club focuses on the development of young adults as leaders in their communities and workplaces. Clubs around the world also take part in international service projects, in a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. Rotaract stands for "Rotary in Action",although the name originally comes from a combination of "Rotary" and "Interact" (International + Action).
Rotaract Club of the college has been serving for more than 15 years. Every year, Blood donation camps, Health camps, Orientation programme for the students, Social activities, Outreach Programmes such as Breast Feeding Awareness, Orphanage Services, Cycle Rally for celebrating National Sports Day have been arranged.
The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

Title : International Yoga Day

Objective of the Event : To create Yoga awareness for the staffs and students.

Brief Description : In furtherance to our constant efforts to promote wellness and healthy living and to commemorate 4th International Yoga Day, T. S. Narayanaswami College of Arts And Science, Navalur, Chennai conducted a Yoga awareness session for the staffs and students on 21 June, 2018 at 10.00a.m at the college premises.
The programme started with welcome address by college Rotract club convener Dr. N. Madan. The yoga session was conducted by Ms.Lakshmi Prasanna, Volunteer and Coordinator, Isha Yoga Center, OMR, Chennai and consisted of media presentation with voice over on a set of yoga practices known as Upa Yoga or sub-yoga. Over 70 students were imparted a brief training in Upa yoga. It consisted 7 sets of 5 minute easy to practice session for health, success, wellbeing, peace, joy and inner exploration. The students were taught arm and neck practices for muscle strength, Yoga–Namaskar to strengthen the spine, Nadi Sudhhi for inner peace, Nada yoga for inner happiness, Sambhavi Mudra for inner exploration and finally Namaskar process to learn to love nature.
Upa yoga is like a small beginner’s guide where the participants do not require prior experience of yoga. The aim of doing Upa yoga is to activate the joints, muscles and energy system, bringing ease to the whole system, thus, ideally suited for helping one cope with the chaos of modern life.

Title : Diet and Nutrition Awareness Programme

Objective of the Event : To create Awareness on Diet and Nutritious Food among the Students.
Chief Guest : Dietician Dr. Priya Rajendran.
Brief Description : The Rotary Club of the college in association with Rotary Club of Madras East conducted a Lecture at 10 am on Diet and Nutrition and Health life. Rtn. Nirmal Kumar, T.S.N college Rotaract chairman, Dr. Vasundra were the other guests present. The programme started with Welcome Address by Rtr. S. Vignesh, Rotaract Student President of the college followed by the Felicitation Address by Dr. R.Gayathri, the Principal. The chief guest gave lecture and power point presentation about the Diet and Nutrition. The chief guest was honored by the Principal. Second year students and Rotaract Volunteers from the departments participated in the awareness programme. Mrs.K.T.Hema ,Vice Principal, Dr.N.Mathan, Rotaract Coordinator , Mr.S.Baskar, Rotaract Co-Coordinator , Staff members from the other departments were present. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks by Rotaract Student Secretary, Rtr. Mahalakshmi .

Objective of the Event : To create awareness about Cancer.
Chief guest : President and Secretary, Rotaract Club of Madras East.
Brief Description : The Rally organized by Rotaract club of Madras East started at 8.00am from Anna University Campus. Nearly 3000 students from 20 Rotaract clubs and 7000 people participated and created awareness to the present generation. Other participants were Foreigners, kids, School chidren and elder people. From T.S.N college, around 50 Rotaract Volunteers participated in the Rally. Dr.N. Mathan and Mr.S. Baskar, Rotaract Coordinators accompanied the students.

Objective of the Event : To create awareness in donating blood where it saves many people in emergency and a demo on Stem Cells.
Chief guest : Camp officer from Hindu Mission Hospital.
Brief Description : The Rotaract Club of the college in association with Rotary Club of Madras East and Hindu Mission Hospital conducted a blood donation camp from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Dr.R.Gayathri, Principal of the College and Mrs. K.T.Hema Vice Principal of the College inaugurated the camp. About 33 students and 1 staff donated blood. The volunteers have done an excellent job.

Brief Description : The programme started with a welcome address by Mrs.K.T.Hema, Vice Principal of the college. Rtr.S.Vignesh was collared as the President of the club, on the occasion. Followed by Secretary and Board of Directors were installed. The Rotaract Annual Report of 2016-2017 was delivered by the former President Rtr. Dinesh . The meeting came to an end with the Vote of Thanks by Rtr.Sharmila Banu and finally National Anthem. Dr. N. Mathan and Mr. S. Baskar, Rotaract Co-ordinator of TSN College, Rtn. R. Nirmalkumar, Rotaract Chairman of TSN College organized and monitored the programme.

Brief Description :On 21 June 2017, the College in association with Rotary Club of Madras East organized “International Yoga Day” at 10.00 am. The programme started with Prayer song, followed by Welcome Address presented by Rotaract member Ms.Sharmila of III B.Com. The Yoga Trainers gave practical yoga training to the students. All Asanas were taught and performed by the students in duration of 2 minutes each.
Dr. R. Gayathri, Principal, Mrs. K.T.Hema, Vice Principal graced the auspicious programme. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks by Rotaract member, Ms. Kavitha of III B.Com followed by National Anthem. Nearly 100 students participated in the programme. N.S.S, Rotaract and YRC student members celebrated Republic Day on 26, January 2017 in the college premises.
To inculcate Patriotism among the students, college celebrates Republic Day.
Mr. Vijayakumar, Inspector, Thazhambur Police station was the Chief Guest, who hoisted the National Flag. He also delivered a speech on the occasion. He rendered three messages to the students.
Title / Date : Embrace Our River, On October 8, 2016.
Objective : The main aim of the program was to render an awareness of Water Management and How to protect our rivers?
Speakers : Mrs.Ragina Cube, Mr.Jayaram Venkatesan, Tara Murali, Mr.L. Venkatachalam spoke on various issues related to Water Management and integration of the rivers and lakes in our towns.
Feedback : Students were made aware on the importance of rivers and lakes of India. The program educated students on natural calamities such as floods and its aftermath rescue measures.
Health of a person is of paramount importance. Health is certainly wealth and the real wealth of nation is its future generation. Hence, T.S.Narayanaswami College of Arts & Science joining hands with Rotary Club of Madras East organized Free Breast Cancer Screening Camp on 27 August 2016. The medical camp was conducted in the College campus from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
Women aged between 30 and 60 from Tazhambur, Navalur, Siruseri villages were benefited by the screening camp. Necessary medications were provided on the spot, and positive patients were referred for follow-up free of cost.
The Rotaract club of the college conducted the 13th year Inauguration and Installation on 1st July 2016. Rtn.K.Ananth, President of Rotary Club of Mdras East was the chief guest. Rtn.Sudarsan,Secretary of RCME, Rtn.Sai Siva Kumar,Director of New Generation, Rtn.Nirmal Kumar, TSN College Rotaract Chairman, (Other Rotarians from Rotary Club of Madras East) and DRR. Subathira Marimuthu were the other guests present.
The programme started with welcome address by Dr.R.Gayathri, Principal of the college. The Chief Guest, Secretary of RCME, and the Principal released the club banner (2016-2017). Rtr.Kowsalya was collared as the president of the club, on the occassion. This was followed by installation of Secretary, Treasurer and Board of Directors. The Rotaract annual report of 2015-2016 was delivered by the past President Rtr.Rakesh. The past secretary handed over the charter to the present secretary. The installation ceremony was attended by more than 50 Rotaractors and 120 Green Rotaractors from various clubs. Mrs.K.T.Hema , vice principal of the college, Rotaract coordinator of TSN college N.Mathan, Co-Coordinator S.Baskar,past Rotaract coordinator Mrs. Venmani and Staff members from various departments were present. The meeting came to an end with vote of thanks by Rtr. Dinnesh, Secretary(2016-2017).
Rotaract Youth Leadership Award
The Rotary Club of Madras East Conducted RYLA Camp on 23.June 2016 at Andhra Chamber of Commerce, Saidapet, Chennai. 27 students of the TSN College participated in the programme accompanied by Prof.N.Mathan and Prof.Mr.S.Baskar.
The programme bagan with a prayer song. Rtn.JayanthiGovindan, President, The Rotary Club Madras East Inaugurated the programme.
Rtn.Venu, and Rtn.Balaji Sreenivasan rendered the speech on topics "Boss of your own", "Life Changing Skills" respectively. Rtn.Seshadri gave Excellent speech on "Effective Communication" Which focused on How to speak, behave and shake hand and How the leader should be?
Team Building activities and Quiz were conducted by RCME members. From both of these activities our students learned; How to build a Team? How to Co-ordinate with the Team? And How to lead a Team?
Prizes and Certificates for the various events were distributed by the RCME President, Secretary, Vice President of ICL Education and Training and other RCME members. Aswanth of V M.Sc CST Won best Rylarian award.
The Programme ended with vote of thanks given by Rtn.Balaji followed by National Anthem.
